I have decided to do some let’s play video series on my YouTube channel. So far, all of these will be retro themed strategy or RPG games and as such deserve at least one page on this website. Games will be featured on multiple systems, currently ranging from Commodore 64 and Amiga to PC and PlayStation 1.
So, without further ado, here is a list of all the games I’m playing currently (or have played).

Above: a small part of my collection of retro games. Some of these might get a playthrough one day!
Dune 2 (Amiga)
One of my favourite games of all time, I played this game to death back in the day. Let’s see if my strategy and mouse clicking skills are still up to par as I try to defeat the game using House Atreides, braving the desert planet of Dune. All the while trying to avoid vile Death-Hand missiles and scheming Ordos.
Eye of the Beholder (Amiga AGA)
Eye of the Beholder (Amiga AGA)
This game got me into Dungeons and Dragons and ‘western RPGs’. I used to get horribly lost in the maze-like dungeons all the time, but did manage to finish it at least once. And now I’m going to try and beat Xanathar again, assuming I can get past the spiders without my whole party being poisoned and dying…
Master of Magic (PC)
Master of Magic (PC)
Kind of like Civilization… But with planet altering spells, mighty heroes and scary beasts. Which is just how I like it! I especially love how you can design your own wizard and equip your own heroes with awesome magic gear you yourself can create. Which is exactly what I’ve done to try and take over the world. Maybe I’ll even succeed.
Suikoden (Playstation)
Suikoden (Playstation)
The first ever JRPG I played and as such this game has a special place in my heart. True, it does suffer from the two major issues with old style JRPGS (conversations with ‘choices’ where only one option is possible and random encounters up the wazoo), but it’s just plain fun to play and has a nice battle system. Onwards to the 108 stars of destiny it is!
